Description
On arrival in Sydney you will be transferred to your hotel with the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2
Sydney
Lunch
Your guide will meet you before showing you through the historic Rocks precinct. Witness the birth place of Sydney and explore the convict-built cottages, pubs and the first church in Australia. Next, visit the stunning Botanical Gardens in the heart of Sydney, then on to Australia’s first Parliament House, Mint, Hyde Park Barracks and St Mary’s Cathedral. Enjoy a walking tour of the harbour’s edge with magnificent views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House before going to Woolloomooloo, Kings Cross and into Rushcutters Bay. It’s here you stop to enjoy a lunch at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, Australia’s premier yacht club and home to what is considered yachting’s ‘Everest’ – the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. View some of Sydney’s most affluent suburbs before traversing along the coastline to Sydney’s most famous beach, Bondi Beach, and later the vibrant Oxford Street and the suburb of Paddington.
Day 3
Sydney – Blue Mountains
Departing from the city you travel directly to the Blue Mountains and the first stop of the day is at Euroka Clearing located deep in the National Park. Here there is abundant birdlife to be found and it’s also home to wild kangaroos. Continuing on you arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout point away from the crowds for views of the famous Three Sisters. The character of the Three Sisters changes throughout the day and throughout the seasons as the sunlight brings out the magnificent colours. Here your guide will discuss the legends behind this famous rock formation and time available for you to take some great photos. From here, you are taken to your accommodation to check in. The remainder of the day at is free at leisure to relax and explore.

Day 4
Blue Mountains – Hunter Valley
Breakfast, Lunch
The day starts early at 8:30am as you travel around the mountains, stopping at Govetts Leap for spectacular Escarpment views. You then continue on to the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens where there is a short walk through the gardens enjoying expansive views followed by morning tea/coffee refreshments. From here, the tour makes its way through to Bilpin and then into the Wollemi National Park to Putty and on to the Hunter Valley. On arrival, you’ll enjoy a delightful lunch with glass of wine at a Vineyard Cafe followed by a visit a boutique winery for tastings. After lunch it is on to your accommodation to enjoy the remainder of afternoon and evening relaxing at leisure.

Day 5
Hunter Valley – Sydney
Breakfast, Lunch
In the morning there is more time at leisure to visit other vineyards for wine tasting or simply relax. At Approximately 11.30am you re-join the wine tour and continue onto Leogate Estate. This opulent cellar door is the perfect place to enjoy that unique taste which only the Hunter Valley and their award-winning wines can provide. All wines produced from the great vines of one of the most highly regarded vineyards in Australia. Here you will enjoy a selection of cheeses to accompany the wine tasting, followed by a tour of the onsite winery to learn of the wine making process. On conclusion of the tour, enjoy a relaxing 2 course lunch (selection of platters, followed by dessert of choice) accompanied by a glass of wine. Further beverages can be purchased at own expense. After lunch, there is a stop at the Hunter Village where here you have the options of visiting the Chocolate Shop for sampling and perhaps a decadent purchase or two!… explore the boutique shops or enjoy a final wine tasting at the local Cellar Door.

Day 6
Sydney
Today, you bid this stunning city farewell as you are transferred to the Sydney Airport for your onward travel plans.
