French River Cruises

Cruises along the Seine pay particular attention to the sights in and around Paris, with lots of opportunity for sightseeing. On a week long voyage, sail to Money’s home town of Giverny; Rouen, City of a Hundred Spires and the historic Normandy capital where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake; with a visit to the beaches of Normandy, home of D-Day memorial sites.

The Rhône River flows from the Swiss Alps through southern France and into the Mediterranean Sea, west of Marseille. Starting in France, the Saône is the main tributary, joining the Rhône at Lyon. Cruises in this region highlight the gastronomical capital of France, Lyon, through France’s legendary wine regions of Côtes du Rhône and Beaujolais, to the Provence region of France where you’ll visit medieval villages where you can sample great wines, indulge in the local cuisine and visit Roman ruins.

Stunningly beautiful Bordeaux is a UNESCO world heritage site and is a highlight of river cruises along the Garonne in southwest France, with world-famous vineyards being some of the top attractions in this region. If vineyard tours and wine tasting are your style, choose a cruise through Burgundy on the Rhône and Saône, or to Bordeaux on the Dordogne and Garonne.
